SOUL MEDITATION

For over twenty years, I lived as a seeker. I was a woman of maps, data, and opinions. I collected answers like a scientist. My library of books explained my mind's mechanics—neurons, childhood trauma, marriage depression. Still, there was a silence no book could fill. In a book "Soul Reflection" on page 71-72, I read for the first time in 2019:

"A formal education does not necessarily guarantee that we will be successful or have satisfying lives. Thus, the formal education allows us to be an expert on a certain field and to socialize with our surroundings. Still, achievements in education do not guarantee success in life; a highly academic professor can certainly be highly unsuccessful, whilst an average student can grow up to be incredibly successful. Of course, success is not only measured by someone's skills or abilities. Success is measured based on someone's physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health -- also on the ability to live with peace, sincerity, and love."

Previously, I had reached a breaking point. I attended many workshops of popular and unpopular speakers, hundreds of hypnotherapy sessions, and consulted respected Kyais in East Java about my life's injustice. Still, the same questions circled when I closed my eyes: Why me? Why this marriage? Why this debt that I did not create? In October 2019, I joined a boot camp with Mardigu Wowiek—the Bossman. It wasn't just a workshop; it was the first time I was challenged to see my faith beyond just an exchange. For the first time, I heard the words Karma and Reincarnation from the Bossman. His explanations were not just ideas; they were a useful way to understand the unsolved parts of my life. During the self-reflective sessions that followed, Bossman asked me to imagine the worst memories I kept. Suddenly, the wrong choices my parents made in 2001 came to mind. It didn't feel like a simple mistake anymore. I cried a lot when I remembered all the burdens so far. Then, another session showed me the impact of my long depression, which I was considering having cancer. It shocked me. In the next steps of bootcamp, I was asked to join a series of meditation with Ms Anisa for 28 days. Every day I did meditation. It was my first time doing meditation regularly.

Around this time, as I also began watching online meditation  a new realisation hit me. I understood that I had been trying to solve a soul-level problem with mind-level tools. I had been looking for a repair manual when what I actually needed was an Energy Map. Over time, I noticed that Soul Reflection Meditation helped calm my anxiety, improved my concentration, and give me a sense of emotional balance I had never felt before. It also helped me focus better on my prayers (sholat khusuk), allowing me to feel more present and peaceful. These changes encouraged me to continue following various meditation programs. The following Playlist Online Meditation with different cases have helped me to remove my bad thoughts.

Soul Reflection Meditation is a self-development and energy-based meditation method created by Bunda Arsaningsih. It is part of a broader framework called the SOUL method (Spirit of Universal Life), which is designed to help individuals of all ages improve their quality of life, emotional well-being, and spiritual growth.

The fundamental goal of this meditation is to process emotions and cleanse negative internal recordings (traumas, anger, sadness, disappointment, or limiting beliefs) that accumulate within a person. The method operates on the principle that these negative imprints attract similar negative experiences into one’s life, and by cleansing them, one can replace them with positive affirmations and energies to improve their overall circumstances.

Key Aspects of the Method:

  1. Cleansing and Affirmation: It is used to systematically release negative qualities or emotional burdens and strengthen positive qualities.

  2. Accessibility: Bunda Arsaningsih has made various versions of these meditations available for free on her official YouTube channel, allowing users to practice them independently at any time and in any place to address specific conditions (e.g., sadness, self-healing, or disappointment).

  3. Energy-Based: The practice is rooted in energy work, aiming to align the practitioner with divine energy to foster health, happiness, and peace.

  4. Complementary Practice: While the meditations can be done individually, the broader SOUL method also includes workshops and community support, often starting with a tool called the SOUL Meter to help individuals assess the quality of their inner state.

Thousands people use these meditations as a practical tool for daily emotional management.  The meditation is also available online via You Tube. Every Wednesday, the meditation serves as a personal resource for moments of distress, sickness, or emotional overwhelm. People often listen to specific guided sessions on repeat until they feel a sense of relief or physical improvement. Beyond self-practice, Bunda Arsaningsih leads regular live sessions (both online and in-person in cities like Bali, Jakarta, and Surabaya) that foster a sense of connection and shared growth among thousands of participants. In short, it is designed as a practical, accessible spiritual tool meant to help you "re-map" your internal state, release emotional baggage, and cultivate a more positive and harmonious life.

Based on my experience, I watch one topic of meditation as my problem occurs. When I'm feeling sad, I listen to the Soul Reflection online meditation for sadness again. I can replay that meditation anytime and anywhere. If I'm feeling sick, I can listen to the OSR (Online Soul Reflection) Self-Healing track. I play the meditation part on repeat until my body feels better. Here are examples of meditations suited to my specific issues:

etc.

Recently, my habits changed. I stopped reading to fix myself and started reading to remember who I was. The peace I had been searching for in Sydney, Surabaya, and other cities wasn't in a new therapist or a new book. It was in the realisation that my life wasn't a series of wrong choices. It was a  soul class in settling my own spiritual debts.  Old books suddenly meant something new.  Even with a thousand books, I remained hungry until I found this new perspective. It grounds my spiritual journey in a real-world events and shifts my mindset from fixing to evolving, which is a powerful message for anyone else suffering from depression. In 2016, my books were a tragedy. In 2026, my books are evolving. The yen year shift wasn't something I could buy or learn through logic alone. It was a gift of consciousness—a moment where the Confused Seeker finally met the Aware Soul. I stopped asking why the world was hurting me, and I started asking: What is my soul trying to resolve through this experience?  Recently, I re-write all of those stories as my catharsis or purification of my long emotional journey. I just wish my writing can help others who have similar problems with me so they can heal their bad experience. So be it!
